Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner for a remote role based in California. You will manage Workers' Compensation indemnity claims, handling complex issues with litigation management and lien resolution while maintaining detailed diaries, updating reserves, and reporting to stakeholders.

Relevant candidates will have at least 5 years of claims experience, be licensed in applicable states or able to obtain licenses, and have strong knowledge of industry standards and related claims

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 5 years of claims experience.
• Licensure/certification in all states where claims are handled (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers' Compensation indemnity claims and related issues.
• Oversee complex claim issues including litigation management and lien resolution.
• Maintain claim diaries, update reserves, and report to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal teams, pursue subrogation opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction.
