Bachelor's degree required; two insurance designations or four extra years of related experience may substitute for degree.
LA license required at start of assignment.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate highly complex indemnity WC claims with limited direction and broad authority.
Report to senior management and underwriters on claims trends and developments.
Investigate claims and analyze policies, endorsements, and records to determine coverage.
Manage claims in litigation and coordinate resources for resolution.
Set reserves and negotiate settlements to optimize financial outcomes.
Prepare reports and correspondence for stakeholders, including insured parties.
