Job summary

Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator Level III to provide advanced infrastructure administration for enterprise VMware environments. The role focuses on on-premises virtualization, server hardware, automation, and networking to ensure reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will work with VMware vSphere 7/8, ESXi, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS integrations, collaborating with engineering teams to improve CI/CD and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on with on-premises VMware environments (vSphere 7/8, ESXi, vCenter).
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation and provisioning.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code and GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and AWS cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support on-premises VMware infrastructure (vSphere 7/8, ESXi, vCenter).
• Configure and troubleshoot network and storage aspects of VMware environments.
• Develop automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support CI/CD processes and cloud integration with AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain availability and performance.
