Job summary

Pellera Technologies is seeking a Senior Consultant VMware Cloud Foundation Automation Engineer to lead design, deployment, and automation of VCF environments remotely, with up to 25% travel across the Contiguous United States.

The role centers on building repeatable automation workflows, optimizing operations, and guiding customers through digital transformation, including audits, architecture, and training. Strong VMware VCF, vSphere, vSAN, NSX expertise and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• 10+ years in architecting/implementing data center solutions.
• Expert-level VMware Cloud Foundation automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware Cloud Foundation management and workload domains with focus on VCF Operations.
• Design and implement VCF automation workflows for repeatable, scalable deployments.
• Lead technical sessions on innovative data center solutions to improve efficiency.
• Organize sales and training sessions on cutting-edge data center technologies.
• Build relationships with Pellera Technologies partners to drive collaboration.
• Attain and maintain relevant data center certifications.
• Stay updated on technical challenges and trends for strategic insights.
• Support clients in digital transformation with audit, architecture, consulting, implementation, and training.
• Identify and validate cloud solution opportunities integrating with existing systems.
• Assess cloud solutions for functionality, availability, and performance.
• Evaluate hybrid platform solutions for organizational fit.
• Ensure technical feasibility for integration, data exchange, and migration.
• Contribute to development and integration of new tech solutions and partnerships for Pellera.
• Participate in customer meetings to define business and technical requirements for VMware VCF.
