Job summary

University of Texas at Austin seeks a Senior Outreach Program Coordinator for the Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness. The role focuses on social media, digital communications, visual content, newsletters, and event promotion within the Veteran Spouse Network (VSN).

You will manage day-to-day communications projects, coordinate with staff, and deliver audience-focused marketing content for military and veteran families. Strong writing and design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in field of work with at least 5 years of program administration or coordination.
• Experience in communications, marketing, social media, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create visual content for VSN programs and events (graphics, flyers, infographics, posters, short videos).
• Coordinate and manage VSN social media accounts, including planning, copy, posting, and engagement.
• Maintain event calendars across social media and partner platforms; update registrations and promote events.
• Coordinate and manage VSN newsletters; write/edit copy and schedule dispatches.
• Attend events to capture photos/videos for social media and marketing; tell the VSN story.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
