SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Senior Manager of User Experience (UX) to lead the Customer Experience Team. This remote role reports to the Director of Customer Experience and steers a team of UX Designers, grounding design in customer research and measurable business outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in UX leadership, 2+ years managing designers, and deep experience in direct-to-consumer ecommerce. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, travel to Melville, NY six times per year, and shape the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 10+ years of UX leadership experience, including 2+ years directly managing designers.
• Experience designing direct-to-consumer e‑commerce experiences with ownership of conversion outcomes.
• Experience using customer research (qualitative and quantitative) to drive design decisions.
• Strong portfolio showing end‑to‑end ownership: research input, design rationale, measurable outcome.
• Experience presenting design work and strategy to executive stakeholders, defended with data.
• Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Excellent communication skills, able to flex between detailed critique and strategic framing with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX designers, setting standards for craft and consistency.
• Establish a research-informed design process tied to customer insights and data.
• Partner with Customer Research to translate findings into design direction.
• Own UX practices and design standards, including accessibility and IA across ecommerce and apps.
• Represent UX to executives, translating decisions into business terms (conversion, retention).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, and IT to align with product strategy.
• Build a framework to prioritize UX initiatives by customer impact and business value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and timelines across multiple design streams.
• Champion AI-driven tools to enhance design workflows and innovation.
