Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Senior UI/Visual Designer to elevate native mobile apps on iOS and Android, emphasizing visual execution, design systems, and expert Figma usage. You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, human factors, regulatory, quality, medical affairs, and legal teams to deliver brand‑consistent, accessible interfaces for patients and healthcare providers.

This remote, W2 contract role offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

Strong visual design and UI design background focused on native mobile apps.
Extensive experience designing for iOS and Android with expert Figma skills.
Proven work with design systems as both user and contributor.
Deep understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and mobile patterns.
Track record of shipping products from concept through launch.
Familiarity with front-end concepts, accessibility (WCAG) and web apps.
Strong communication to present and defend decisions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive aesthetically strong visual execution of native mobile products.
Utilize and contribute to the client’s design system.
Shape UI strategy to elevate quality across the portfolio.
Design visual experiences across iOS, Android, Web, and wearables where applicable.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary designers, developers, stakeholders, and partners.
Ensure implementation aligns with designs across platforms with engineers.
Present design proposals to inform and influence stakeholders.
Mentor designers through feedback and hands-on collaboration.
Socialize ideas to gain alignment and reach mutually agreeable solutions.
Promote a positive, collaborative culture receptive to feedback.
