Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior UX Designer for mobile apps (iOS & Android) to craft engaging native experiences. You will lead end-to-end design, create flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals while aligning with platform guidelines and accessibility standards.

Collaborating with product, engineering, and research teams, you will translate complex data into intuitive interfaces and contribute to scalable design systems. This is a hybrid contract role in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX, Product Design, or Mobile Product Design experience with a focus on native apps.
• Proven experience shipping mobile products on iOS and Android platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Apple HIG, Material Design, native mobile interaction patterns, and mobile accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of native mobile experiences across iOS and Android.
• Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with platform guidelines.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable mobile interfaces.
• Design experiences leveraging native device capabilities, notifications, and permissions.
• Ensure consistency across products with scalable design systems and components.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure design quality and alignment.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive mobile experiences.
