Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge Institute is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to own the OpenDash 360 UI and shape the front-end architecture for our enterprise training platform. You will build dashboards, competency visuals, adaptive learning paths, and admin workflows used by leaders to drive decisions.

You will set frontend standards, create a reusable design system, and optimize performance while collaborating across product, design, and backend teams. Must be a US citizen for a US-remote role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production web applications in a senior/lead role.
• Deep Angular expertise: standalone components, signals/RxJS, DI, routing, lazy loading, performance tuning.
• React experience preferred with Hooks and modern rendering patterns.
• Expert‑level TypeScript with strong typing and API contracts.
• Front‑end architecture judgment on state management, module boundaries, tooling, and dependencies.
• Testing and quality discipline: unit, component, end‑to‑end testing for shipping.
• Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs on Node.js/Express backends.
• Familiar with GitOps and CI/CD, and a fast, blameless delivery culture.
• Self-starter who acts without a prescriptive task list.
• Strong communication to defend architecture decisions and explain user impact.
• US citizenship and work authorization for US remote role.

Responsibilities

• Own the OpenDash 360 UI experience layer from dashboards to admin workflows.
• Set front-end standards: architecture patterns, state management, API contracts, testing, and code review norms.
• Build and maintain a reusable design system and component library.
• Turn dense readiness and assessment data into clear, actionable interfaces.
• Own render performance, bundle size, and load behavior.
• Ship continuously within GitOps/CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and frequent deploys.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and customer teams; mentor engineers as the team grows.
