Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge Institute is building OpenDash 360, a next-generation training and workforce readiness platform. We seek a Senior UI Engineer to own the UI layer and shape front-end architecture for enterprise dashboards, competency visualizations, and administrative workflows.

You’ll set standards, craft a design system, and ensure performance while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams. This remote role requires US citizenship and a proven, senior-level frontend background.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production web applications at a senior/lead level.
• Proficient in modern Angular (standalone components, signals or RxJS-based state, DI, routing, lazy loading, performance).
• Strong React experience with Hooks and modern rendering patterns.
• Expert-level TypeScript with strong typing and API contracts.
• Solid front-end architecture judgment for state, module boundaries, tooling, and tradeoffs.
• Testing discipline: unit, component, and end-to-end testing as part of shipping.
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL with Node.js/Express backends.
• Familiar with GitOps and CI/CD and fast, blameless delivery culture.
• Self-starter with bias for action.
• Strong communication to defend architecture decisions and explain user impact.
• US citizen authorized to work in the United States; role is US-remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the OpenDash 360 UI experience layer; design, build, and evolve the front-end architecture.
• Set the front-end standards and patterns for maintainability and scale.
• Build the design system with reusable components and a cohesive design language.
• Turn dense readiness data into legible interfaces with clear information hierarchy and visualization.
• Engineer for performance, including render speed and bundle size.
• Ship continuously within GitOps and CI/CD pipelines with automated tests.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and customer-facing teams; mentor engineers.
