Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the planning and design of transportation projects. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver innovative solutions across delivery types including Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.

A preferred hybrid work arrangement in Fairfax, VA is available, with full remote candidates considered. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8+ years in transportation design, and proficiency with OpenRoads Designer.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in VA or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for roadway design.
• Familiarity with DOT standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design on alternative delivery transportation projects.
• Collaborate with teams to develop innovative design solutions.
• Develop and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality control.
