Job summary

Spyre Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist, Translational Science, to lead outsourced bioanalytical and biomarker activities for clinical programs.

You will drive PK, immunogenicity, and PD assays development, qualification, validation, sample analysis, data interpretation, and reporting across CROs. You will serve as the scientific liaison with CROs, guide assay development plans, ensure adherence to GLP/GCLP, and align with program timelines.

Qualifications

• PhD in biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemistry, or related field with 2+ years industry experience.
• Experience supporting large-molecule PK and immunogenicity assays.
• Knowledge of GLP, GCLP regulatory expectations.
• Experience overseeing CROs and reviewing technical documents/reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong scientific judgment.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day outsourced bioanalytical activities (PK, immunogenicity, biomarkers) at CROs.
• Provide scientific input to design/qualification/validation/implementation of bioanalytical methods.
• Review protocols, validation plans/reports, and data packages for quality and integrity.
• Coordinate with CROs and internal partners on milestones, quotes, contracts, samples, and reagents.
• Plan clinical sample analysis across studies, including priorities, timelines, and data delivery.
• Work with experts to investigate and resolve assay development/validation issues.
• Evaluate bioanalytical data and summarize conclusions for the translation science team.
• Contribute bioanalytical content to laboratory manuals and data transfer agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
