Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating seeks a Senior Training Instructor to design and deliver technical, skill-based training for our workforce, including new hires and apprenticeship participants. You will coordinate the Apprenticeship Training Program, mentor teams, coach on the job, and align programs with MEI’s safety, integrity, and excellence values.

You will collaborate with Training Directors and regional staff to create effective training solutions, track progress, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Industrial Education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Apprenticeship Program Curriculum Development/Revision via needs assessments and design.
• Lead Apprenticeship Program Course Delivery and Presentation via public speaking, logistics, and collaboration.
• Drive Organizational Training Projects to address company-wide needs and monitor effectiveness.
• Support Skill Development for employees at all levels including Entry-Level Driver Training.
• Collaborate with Training leadership to design and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct Gap Analyses to identify development opportunities and align employees with training paths.
• Develop and Deliver Training Materials including technical content for sessions.
• Track and Maintain Training Records ensuring compliance with standards.
• Evaluate Training Effectiveness by reporting progress and outcomes.
• Stay Current as an SME by attending industry shows and continuing education.
• Support Recruitment by evaluating new hires for training potential.
• Travel up to 50% to regional offices as required.
