Solventum, a healthcare‑tech leader, is hiring a Senior Technical Manager to lead cross‑functional teams delivering Java and .NET applications for healthcare claims processing, with on‑premise and cloud deployments. You will set the technical direction, mentor engineers, and align delivery with business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or IS, 12 years of software development, 8 years in leadership, strong communication, and experience with AWS, CI/CD, REST/SOAP, Java, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Twelve (12) years of software development experience.
• Eight (8) years of team leadership experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and communicate business objectives, priorities, and direction to technical teams.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, REST/SOAP, Java, and SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams responsible for developing Solventum products, including Developers and Quality Assurance.
• Assist Product Owner(s) and/or Product Analyst(s) to deliver enhanced functionality while architecting and developing the replacement technology stack for cloud and on‑premise.
• Set technical direction and manage the backlog with Product Owners and Architects.
• Mentor developers in design, prototyping, coding, debugging, and test execution.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Champion Agile methodologies across the organization.
• Foster innovation and professional growth within the team.
• Own change management to sustain productivity and adapt to new tech.
• Research new technologies and stay current with industry trends.
• Develop and execute a strategic technical roadmap in partnership with the Business Manager.
