Job summary

Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) seeks a hybrid/remote Senior Technical Manager to advance building codes, policy and standards across the 13-state region. Lead research, training, and technical resources to support local, state and regional policy efforts.

The role demands deep building science knowledge, strong communication, and experience in energy modeling and policy analysis. Flexible hybrid work with travel up to 25% within the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of energy codes (IECC, ASHRAE 90.1).
• Experience in energy efficiency, building technologies, or related technical areas.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical training for code officials and policymakers.
• Lead research focused on energy codes, BPS and building policies.
• Develop technical resources, tools and cost-effectiveness analyses.
• Represent MEEA as a technical expert in policy activities.
