Job summary

Loomis Sayles, a performance-driven asset management firm, seeks an energetic data/tech analyst to support investment processes across the firm. You will manage relationships, projects, and vendors while handling data analytics to enhance performance and risk assessment.

Responsibilities include coordinating technology projects, leveraging Factset, Bloomberg, Excel, and SQL to access instrument data, and ensuring analytics accuracy for the investment team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in investment industry or Master’s with 2 years in related roles.
• Experience developing factor-based risk models in Python.
• Experience with swap valuation models in MATLAB and SQL queries in Postgres/Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship, project, vendor, and data analysis to support investment areas.
• Coordinate technology projects and issues for an investment platform.
• Access and analyze instrument data using Factset, Bloomberg, Excel, and SQL.
• Ensure analytics data and tools are accurate for the investment process.
• Analyze account and instrument-level data to verify attributes and analytics.
• Validate new functionality and resolve data discrepancies with technology staff.
• Develop procedures, test plans, and quality standards for systems.
