Job summary

TCS & Associates CPAs is seeking a licensed CPA with extensive tax knowledge to join our team. The role involves preparing tax planning projections, reviewing filings, and communicating with clients and IRS representatives.

Hybrid work is available, with preference for candidates within commuting distance of Panama City, FL or Jacksonville, FL. You will engage in consulting, business development, and collaboration with management to serve high-net-worth individuals and businesses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working for a CPA firm.
• Licensed CPA or EA Certification or CPA exam eligible.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax planning projections.
• Conduct tax research and outline findings and conclusions.
• Respond to IRS and state audits, inquiries, and tax notices.
• Communicate with clients, management, and IRS representatives.
