Job summary

Andromeda is seeking a Member of the Technical Staff, Systems to design and build high-performance distributed systems spanning storage, networking, virtualization, and container runtimes. This role blends remote North America work with onsite SF collaboration.

You will contribute deep systems work, maintain low-level Linux foundations, and participate in on-call incidents; proficiency in Rust, C, or Go is required, with Nice-to-have QEMU/KVM and RDMA experience.

Qualifications

• Experience building high-performance distributed systems at scale.
• Strong low-level Linux foundations: kernel, drivers, filesystems, containers.
• Production experience in Rust, C, or Go.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.
• Experience with performance engineering is a plus.
