Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Cloud Data Pipeline (CDP) for the U.S. Coast Guard, with full remote work availability. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and sustaining the CDP across USCG environments, leveraging Confluent/Kafka and enterprise data strategies.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
• Advanced hands-on programming in Java, .NET, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDP deployment within USCG-designated cloud environments.
• Implement robust data ingestion and sharing between source/recipient systems and the CDP.
• Ensure all CDP activities comply with USCG software, security, and configuration standards.
• Plan and execute maintenance to ensure uptime of CDP in USCG environments.
• Provide long-term sustainment planning and system tuning for the CDP.
