Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer focused on Active Directory and Azure to join a remote enterprise IT team. You will secure, monitor, and optimize the server environment, provide level 2 support, and mentor Operations staff while aligning with healthcare privacy standards.

The role requires strong Windows Server, AD/Azure expertise, and a proactive approach to automation and incident resolution in a multi-site hospital network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional IT experience.
• PowerShell experience preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Microsoft MCSE / Azure training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level support of Microsoft systems and services in a Hybrid/enterprise environment.
• Maintains and secures Active Directory and cloud-based identities across on-prem and Azure.
• Assists with implementing new technologies and ensures documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Contributes to enterprise projects, meets milestones, and supports incident management.
• Analyzes monitoring data to prevent recurring issues and improve uptime.
