Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant to lead a portfolio of client engagements, guiding strategy, measurement, and reporting in a remote role across the United States. You will shape proposals, manage delivery, and translate complex sustainability challenges into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of GHG accounting (Scopes 1–3), sustainability frameworks, and experience in emissions tracking, enabling clear client impact with strong project

Qualifications

• Master's degree in sustainability or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience considered.
• Expert knowledge of sustainability frameworks (GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISSB).
• Strong skills in sustainability consulting, project management, and client relationship management.
• Experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas accounting.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting for sustainability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of client sustainability projects
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements and maintain ongoing communication
• Translate sustainability challenges into clear analytical plans and recommendations
• Coordinate client information flow regarding project status and deliverables
• Oversee analytical tasks including data collection, corporate inventory development, and reporting
• Provide strategic advisory support for sustainability target-setting and tracking
• Collaborate with Sales on new customer acquisition and proposal development
