Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Engineer to lead the supplier development program, drive performance improvements, and ensure the delivery of heat exchanger packs that meet customer needs. 6+ years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related leadership role.
Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
In-depth knowledge of supplier development strategies, supplier relationship management, and quality control.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor a team of supplier development engineers to ensure successful project execution.
Establish and enforce supplier performance standards and collaborate to identify improvement opportunities.
Drive innovation in supplier processes and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Foster strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders for collaboration and growth.
Identify resources for supplier capability building and mitigate supplier-related risks.
Lead projects related to heat exchanger packs from initiation to completion.
Track issues in Jira and drive solutions for shortages or manufacturing problems.
