Job summary

Welty Energy is seeking a Senior Substation and Transmission Estimator to join our Energy team. This role involves creating utility project estimates and mentoring junior estimators while providing consulting on select projects.

Located in the US, this position allows remote work, but operates in ET hours. Candidates must exhibit strong engineering design understanding and have at least 8 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of experience in transmission line design, substation design, or utility estimating.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create utility project estimates.
• Consult on select projects and assist the project management team.
• Review and approve estimate requests in OPPM.
