Job summary

Welty Energy is seeking a Senior Substation Estimator to join its Energy team. The role involves creating utility project estimates and collaborating with the client’s team to provide best-in-class service. Ideal candidates should have over 8 years of experience in substation design or estimating.

This position can be remote from the mainland United States and requires communication with internal and external clients. Crew and project scheduling, along with engineering design oversight, will also be key components of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in substation design or estimating within the electric utility industry.
• Ability to manage high-volume workload and communicate efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary project schedules and project estimates.
• Work with internal teams for preliminary substation designs.
• Review and approve estimate requests in OPPM.
