Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff (Level 5) Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist for a remote US-based role with a 9x80 schedule. You will source, negotiate, and manage complex subcontracts across FAR/DFARS and ITAR compliance while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Role emphasizes leadership of Supply Chain Management Teams, cost/price analysis, and continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 12+ years (or higher degrees with fewer years) in subcontracts or related fields.
• Masters/PhD holders have corresponding years of related experience.
• Working-level knowledge of FAR/DFARS (or equivalent business law).
• CostPoint or SAP ERP + MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop subcontract specifications, statements of work, HOA agreements, Long‑Term Pricing Agreements, and related documents.
• Draft, review, and negotiate terms & conditions for high‑value contracts.
• Prepare bid packages, lead bidder conferences, perform cost/price analysis, and select subcontractors.
• Coordinate with contracts, legal, engineering, quality, planning, operations, finance, program management, and end‑users.
• Monitor supplier performance (KPIs, quality, schedule) and apply Lean Six Sigma for improvement.
• Lead Supply Chain Management Teams (SMT).
• Ensure FAR/DFARS/EAR compliance and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Identify cost‑savings and risk‑reduction strategies through negotiations.
• Draft complex subcontract agreements including NDAs and MOAs.
