Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, PE, for a REMOTE/WFH role in Michigan. The position offers a base salary up to $170,000 plus a target bonus of 10-15% and a full benefits package.

The candidate will design industrial modular buildings, serve as Engineer of Record, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The ideal applicant has PE licensure (SE a plus), experience in structural steel design, and strong knowledge of US codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license; SE license is a plus.
Experience designing structural steel systems for industrial/modular buildings.
Experience with steel connections design and hand calculations; knowledge of codes.
Proficiency with RAM Elements/Connections, AutoCAD, Revit, and standard MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Develop designs for industrial modular buildings and primary/secondary steel structures.
Act as Engineer of Record for structural designs and ensure safety and compliance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project solutions.
Prepare submittals, specifications, and proposals for approvals.
Conduct factory inspections to verify compliance with designs and codes.
Interface with clients and vendors to assess site conditions and foundations.
Review shop drawings and support fabrication issues.
