Job summary

Complete Logistical Services seeks a seasoned Sr. Stress Analyst – Space Systems to join the team in a fully remote role. The candidate will lead advanced FEA analyses, structural integrity checks, and documentation for aerospace hardware used in space and harsh environments.

You will collaborate with Space Systems and Defense technologies to push engineering boundaries. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of engineering experience, LS-DYNA proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or equivalent engineering field.
• 10–15 years of direct experience in a relevant engineering role.
• 3–5 years of recent LS-DYNA experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Travel to Houston once a month for 3 days is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform classical and finite element analyses (FEA) including linear/non-linear statics, modal, frequency, random, explicit and implicit transient analyses.
• Conduct structural integrity calculations for static, fatigue, fracture, buckling, stability and creep failure modes.
• Ensure safety of joints, welds, and fasteners through rigorous analysis.
• Support project teams with proposals, change requests, and design reviews.
• Develop presentations and reports during the design phase from data.
• Coordinate documentation for design approvals per client requirements.
• Assist in fracture control and fatigue-life assessments for flight hardware.
• Apply suitable analysis methods and expert judgment to solve complex problems.
• Document results and generate reports for hardware certification.
