Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Principal Structural Analyst to join our advanced space and energy systems team in Seattle. The role focuses on structural analysis and verification of aerospace-grade hardware across concept through deployment, collaborating with design, systems, and test engineers to ensure mission success.

The candidate will lead static, dynamic, and thermal FEA, develop margin assessments, and mentor junior analysts in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural analysis experience in aerospace, defense, nuclear, or high-reliability systems.
• Strong FEA expertise, ideally with ANSYS Mechanical.
• Experience with dynamic structural environments including vibration, shock, and transient response.
• Understanding of aerospace or NASA structural standards and verification processes.
• Familiarity with fracture mechanics, fatigue, and damage tolerance methodologies.
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

An innovative deep tech company developing next-generation compact energy systems for space, maritime, defense, and remote applications is looking for a Senior or Principal Structural Analyst to join its growing engineering team.

This organization is building highly advanced power technologies designed to operate in some of the harshest environments imaginable, from lunar missions to remote terrestrial deployments.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in the structural analysis and verification of complex aerospace-grade systems, supporting programs from early concept development through qualification and deployment. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical hardware in a highly collaborative and technically ambitious environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform structural and mechanical analysis across complex system architectures
