Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive category development, strategic procurement engagement, and sourcing execution with internal customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

The role is remote and open to applicants across the United States. Candidates should be able to work CST or PST hours, and bring 10+ years of procurement experience, including 6+ years in sourcing software and complex technology services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience with 6+ years in software/tech sourcing.
• BA/BS in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
• Experience with eSourcing and spend analytics tools.
• Strong negotiation and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute supplier initiatives.
• Develop analytical reports on savings, metrics, and KPIs to monitor progress.
• Provide cross-functional visibility into supplier spend and performance.
• Support RFx efforts by leading project teams through supplier selection processes.
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, and Third-Party Governance on source-to-pay processes.
• Manage strategic procurement engagement with one or more business units.
