Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a hands-on Storage Software Engineer to join the DGXC Storage team in California. You will contribute to open-source file systems, implement features, and ensure storage remains fast, reliable, and durable for thousands of GPUs across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will write production code, triage scale issues, and set tuning guidelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance storage for AI workloads.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Over 12 years of storage software engineering experience in high-performance parallel or distributed file systems
• Hands-on writing and reviewing production code and running scale tests or recovery drills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to open-source file systems and distribute object storage; upstream fixes and features
• Write and review production code; read kernel, NVMe-oF, or SPDK sources to identify bugs
• Triage and troubleshoot large-scale storage issues across GPU clusters
• Define and recommend configuration, tuning, and operational best practices for high-performance file systems
