Job summary

Visa Hunt seeks a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to join a fully remote, full-time team. You will work with an experienced development group to build resilient CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS.

You will implement best practices, monitor systems, troubleshoot across software, hardware, and cloud resources, and contribute to a multinational engineering culture through knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with at least 2+ hands-on in AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS Lambda, EC2, EKS.
• Experience maintaining and scaling Elasticsearch and InfluxDB.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, and shell scripting.
• Experience with CircleCI and Terraform.
• Experience with CloudFlare, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Certifications in SOC1/SOC2 or PCI DSS are a plus; AWS/DevOps/compliance certs welcomed.
• Any additional AWS/DevOps/compliance certs.

• Collaborate with an experienced team to tackle complex DevOps challenges.
• Adopt best DevOps practices.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate tooling to reduce repetitive tasks.
• Build tools and integrations for monitoring and alerting.
• Apply cloud best practices and scalable architectures.
• Troubleshoot across software, hardware, and cloud resources.
• Share knowledge with a multinational team through presentations.
