Job summary

Collins Aerospace’s ARINCDirect team is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to automate and harden our infrastructure. You will own reliability, monitoring, and capacity planning while advancing Kubernetes adoption and declarative infrastructure.

This role blends software, analytics, and hardware across a high-demand environment. The ideal candidate has a strong SRE background, 5+ years of platform experience, and deep Linux/Docker/Kubernetes expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM or higher with 5+ years SRE/Platform experience.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX in large infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Automation of configuration with declarative tools.

Responsibilities

• Automate and improve reliability of ARINCDirect infrastructure.
• Own service availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response.
• Create and manage environments using data-driven capacity planning.
• Maintain Linux-based physical infrastructure and push towards Kubernetes.
• Collaborate across teams to design scalable, dependable solutions.
• Drive process improvements for productivity and delivery.
