Job summary

TEEMA seeks an accomplished Solutions Architect to lead architectural design for healthcare implementations, focusing on real-time data ingestion, FHIR workflows, and scalable cloud-native solutions.

You will guide cross-functional teams through discovery, design reviews, and post-go-live optimization, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and corporate roadmaps. A strong communicator comfortable with complex technical concepts is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, consulting, or solution architecture in healthcare.
• Proven lead of customer-facing architecture discussions with payer, provider, or government healthcare organizations.
• Experience designing solutions involving real-time data ingestion technologies such as Kafka, Camel, or Pulsar, and implementing FHIR-based data workflows.
• Strong understanding of clinical data models and healthcare terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC).
• Knowledge of cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployments using HELM, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with diagramming tools like Lucidchart to communicate architecture and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and discovery with healthcare customers to define scalable solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight across the full implementation lifecycle and post-go-live.
• Assess requirements and optimize performance, ingestion workflows, and terminology mapping.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Agile Leads, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to resolve architectural questions.
• Evolve designs as delivery progresses addressing new constraints and deployment issues.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and escalation discussions providing clear guidance at key decisions points.
• Contribute to architecture governance and stay aligned with product roadmap and regulatory requirements (CMS interoperability).
