Job summary

Epiq is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect Manager to lead technical teams on data-intensive solutions. You will review T-SQL code, troubleshoot performance issues, and guide SQL Server development while remaining hands-on when needed.

The role requires strong communication and program leadership in a large, global context. You’ll manage multi-project workloads, collaborate with clients and data experts, and translate business needs into scalable technical designs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams.
• 10+ years of SQL Server and/or relational database experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and recent hands-on T-SQL experience.
• Strong experience with query tuning and database performance optimization.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong people-management and technical-leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop managers and technical professionals responsible for complex data-driven solutions.
• Review SQL/T-SQL code, answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute hands-on when needed.
• Provide guidance around SQL Server development, query tuning, database performance, and solution design.
• Work with extremely large and complex datasets (billions of rows; nearly a trillion-scale environment).
• Lead large projects with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Partner with clients and their data experts on data intake, files, rollups, and data-processing considerations.
• Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Foster partnerships across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
