Scopic hires for a Solutions Architect role. This fully remote software company values engineers who also think like business owners and who can influence client projects and internal products from discovery to delivery.

You will design architectures, own roadmaps, and mentor senior engineers while engaging with executives and clients to drive value and ROI. This is a remote, international team with flexible time zones and ongoing growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development; 3+ years in architect/lead roles.
• Hands-on coding today; review PRs and prototype.
• Experience with AI-powered engineering and AI in SDLC.
• Design distributed, cloud-native, scalable systems; product ownership.
• Strong Node.js, React and Next.js skills.
• Solid Python knowledge; client/executive engagement; business impact.
• Excellent English; remote team experience; PST-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Share ownership of technical strategy, standards, and priorities.
• Own product and technical roadmap for internal products and client projects.
• Translate client goals into technical plans; challenge requirements.
• Design architectures from discovery through delivery.
• Support sales with scoping and effort estimation.
• Mentor engineers; raise code quality, security, and delivery practices.
• Evaluate build vs. buy and AI adoption with ROI in mind.
• Represent engineering to executives and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.
