Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead architecture and solution design for state-specific Medicaid regulatory changes across the health-plan technology ecosystem. The role is remote in the United States and requires deep expertise in Facets, Mainframe, Java, DataStage, Talend and healthcare payer operations.

You will own end-to-end architectures, assess regulatory impacts across platforms, and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams including QA and product

Qualifications

• Deep TriZetto Facets architecture and implementation experience.
• Strong Mainframe architecture knowledge (COBOL/JCL/DB2/CICS).
• Extensive Java/J2EE architecture and engineering experience.
• Experience with IBM DataStage and Talend/TalendWorks.
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulatory requirements and state-specific variations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for state-specific Medicaid regulatory changes.
• Assess regulatory impacts across Mainframe, Java, DataStage, Talend, APIs, databases, and batch platforms.
• Design reusable architecture patterns to accommodate state Medicaid variations.
• Provide technical leadership to Mainframe, Java, Facets, ETL, and QA teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical quality assessments, and production-readiness reviews.
• Partner with Medicaid regulatory SMEs, business analysts, product owners, engineering, and QA teams.
