Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior Full Stack and M&S Developer to support large-scale digital products for government clients, with a focus on supply chain, logistics, and sustainment. You will lead a team of developers, translate mission needs into delivery plans, and shape architecture across platform engineering, data engineering, analytics, and modeling.

The role demands strong software development experience, quantitative skills, and the ability to present findings to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field such as math, physics, operations research, engineering, data analytics, or another relevant technical domain.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations research, inventory management, industrial base analysis, technology assessments, logistics, acquisition support, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience using analytic tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau to perform data exploration and analysis.
• Experience with Cloud computing services such as AWS, and Azure
• Experience leading small to medium size technical teams to deliver analytical products and analyses
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear findings, risk statements, and actionable recommendations.
• Self-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability to complete assigned tasks, adapt to changing work efforts, and manage shifting priorities.
• Availability for occasional travel (5%).
• Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary integrator across platform engineering, data engineering, analytics, modeling and simulation, and supply chain subject matter expertise
• Translate mission, business, and user needs into product requirements, backlog priorities, and delivery plans
• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of full‑stack web applications.
• Architect, develop, test, and maintain new supply chain models related to inventory management, supplier risk, network optimization, and other logistics modeling
• Lead a team of mid-level and junior developers and subject matter experts to answer project requirements and needs.
• Coordinate with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to gather information, validate findings, and support recommended courses of action.
• Help to ensure the platform continues to mature across enterprise data integration, application development, user experience, modeling and simulation, and decision‑support capabilities
