Job summary

Convera seeks an experienced Software Program Manager to oversee large-scale development initiatives, coordinating multiple teams and ensuring delivery of web services and middleware across deployments.

You will lead Agile sprint planning, architect high-volume systems for AML/FX operations, and drive modernization across platforms, reporting to Convera's HQ. Remote work is supported within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field plus 8 years of experience.
• Master's Degree plus 6 years in lieu of Bachelor's plus 8 years is accepted.
• Experience with project planning tools (Smart Sheet) and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle databases; C#, .Net Core.
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend) and analytics tools (BO, QlikView, SSRS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD, and SDLC tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Knowledge of Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile methodologies; GIT/SVN for version control.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex software development initiatives across web services and deployments.
• Set objectives, policies, roadmaps, and work plans; delegate tasks to teams.
• Lead Agile sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery of features.
• Oversee architecture development, system requirements, and technical design.
• Direct modernization for payment, AML, and FX operations; design models and procedures.
• Define methods for new projects and ensure cross-team execution.
• Oversee full-cycle web app and middleware development; design, code, test, deploy, maintain.
• Oversee data retrieval strategies and data migration for upgrades and integrations.
