Job summary

Convera seeks a Senior Manager – Software Engineering to lead multiple development streams, drive architecture evolution, and modernize payment and AML systems. The role supports 100% remote work across the USA, reporting to HQ. Requires a strong background in C#, .NET Core, SQL/NoSQL, and Agile leadership with SDLC experience.

You will guide full lifecycle delivery, data strategies, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring scalable, secure software across web services and middleware.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/related field or foreign equivalent.
8+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and ETL tools.
Proficient in C#/.NET Core and SDLC tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

Oversee complex software development initiatives and roadmaps.
Lead Agile sprint teams; align with project requirements and goals.
Direct modernization efforts for transactional systems and AML workflows.
Coordinate web services, middleware, and deployment activities.
Ensure design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software.
Drive data migration plans and data retrieval strategies.
