Job summary

Snapsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Workflows team, building the platform that powers automation across Snapsheet’s products. You will design distributed systems and RESTful APIs to handle high event volumes and manage complex data relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration, scalability, and delivering cutting-edge solutions, with a stack including Ruby on Rails and React, MySQL, Redis, and AWS services.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Designing and building APIs.
• Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases.
• Understanding scalability challenges and performance of server-side code.
• Prior experience using React and/or Typescript is a plus.
• Prior experience using Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted software development is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate with a team.
• Commitment to quality and cutting-edge solutions.
• Ability to manage tasks across multiple initiatives in a sprint.
