Job summary

ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on the Workflows team to rebuild a high-scale platform, focusing on backend services while contributing across the stack. You will partner with product, design, and platform teams with ownership of your work and mentorship to grow.

You’ll design, build, and optimize full stack workflow applications using Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js (NestJS) on the backend and Angular or React on the front end, while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience plus 7+ years building production software
• Strong backend experience with Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (NestJS), or comparable frameworks
• Experience building web apps with Angular or React and debugging production issues
• Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka or similar
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud, databases, reliability, and strong problem-solving & communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack workflow applications using Java Spring Boot or Node.js NestJS and Angular/React
• Develop workflow orchestration systems with Temporal or Google Cloud Workflows
• Build and optimize event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar streaming tech
• Create APIs and integrations connecting front-end, backend, and workflow engines
• Design for reliable job execution, retries, state management, observability with logs, traces, metrics
• Optimize performance and latency across distributed systems and troubleshoot production issues
• Lead medium- to large-scale features and initiatives with product managers, designers, and platform teams
• Mentor engineers and participate in design/code reviews, promoting best practices
