Job summary

enGen is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable software across digital channels. You will take an enterprise-wide architectural view of solutions and drive technical execution using the stack that best fits the platform, from idea to deployment.

We expect 5+ years in design/analysis of algorithms, data structures, and patterns, with experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, Oracle/DB2, SQL, Kafka, GIT, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Preferred Master's Degree in related field.
• 5 years experience in design/analysis of algorithms, data structures, and patterns.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, Oracle/DB2, SQL, Kafka, GIT, and GCP.
• 7 years working with various technology systems in healthcare.
• 5 years translating designs into working applications.
• 5 years producing fault-tolerant, efficient code.
• 1 year ML, NLP, MT, DNN.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Communicate blockers to the Scrum Master and manage DoD/Acceptance Criteria.
