Job summary

firstPRO, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Java expertise to join our enterprise applications team. You will remain hands-on while shaping application architecture and leading technical direction.

You will design, develop, and optimize scalable Java/Spring Boot solutions, mentor teammates, and contribute to data analytics initiatives. Expect onsite work two days per week in Reading, PA or Tampa, FL, with opportunity to grow into an Application Architect role while remaining

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience building applications using Spring Boot.
• Advanced SQL development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work onsite two days per week in Reading, PA or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities
