Job summary

arrivia is seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer, Quality Engineering to strengthen the AI-assisted development pipeline and quality bar. You will own the quality for AI-generated code, design automated test and evaluation systems, and gate releases with CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to ship secure, scalable features across our travel platform, while ensuring user data privacy and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years full-stack development experience, or 6+ years for senior level.
• Strong software quality mindset: test strategy, automation, CI-gated quality checks.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents in professional workflows with judgment.
• Experience with automated testing across the stack (unit/integration/e2e).
• RESTful API design, microservices, cloud delivery (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own the quality bar for AI-generated code and build repeatable tooling.
• Design automated testing, regression, and AI evaluation systems.
• Define workflows to gate real releases via CI and deployment checks.
• Set what is ready to ship with coverage expectations and signals.
• Ship full-stack features end-to-end for the travel platform.
• Collaborate with AI agents as core tools and establish prompts/checkpoints.
• Build observability, alerting, and guardrails for reliability.
• Protect member data privacy and security alongside Risk teams.
