Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Rula’s Patient Onboarding team. You’ll design and ship reliable web applications, mentor teammates, and own projects end-to-end to improve patient onboarding and outcomes.

This role emphasizes experimentation, performance, and scale, with collaboration across Product, Design, Analytics, and other engineers to move fast while maintaining quality. This is a 100% remote role for candidates based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering; building, scaling, and maintaining production-ready web applications.
• Strong competency in API design, data modeling, and developing distributed systems optimized for performance, correctness, and resilience.
• Strong capabilities in modern full-stack frameworks, balancing frontend or backend focus while iterating with Product and Design.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, partnering with Product, Design, Analytics, and other engineers to run experiments and ship improvements.
• Design and deliver reliable, high-quality product experiences that impact growth and patient outcomes.
• Mentor others, surface constraints and tradeoffs early, and model ownership and urgency.
