Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead complex systems analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation on remote teams.

You will drive technical decisions, mentor developers, coordinate cross-functional work with business units and vendors, and ensure performance, standards, and regulatory compliance across projects. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) with at least 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience.
• Strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and React.js.
• Experience with iOS/SwiftUI and/or Android/Jetpack Compose.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor others.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex systems analysis, application design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Design and develop solutions using Java/Spring Boot, microservices, React.js, iOS/SwiftUI, and Android/Jetpack Compose.
• Serve as a technical lead and individual contributor on complex projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, project estimates, test plans, and system documentation.
• Analyze complex application integrations and dependencies.
• Coordinate development activities and mentor less experienced developers.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Evaluate technologies and drive improvements to processes and performance.
