Job summary

Enverus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Distribution Tools team in Spokane, WA, with remote work options. You will contribute to the desktop design and engineering tools for electric and gas distribution, collaborating with product management and QA to deliver reliable features.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of software development experience, strong skills in C# and .NET, and familiarity with GIS and Enterprise Asset Management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Familiarity with modern development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Desire to work on software used by utilities and energy infrastructure organizations.

Responsibilities

• Implement new functionality, bug fixes, and enhancements within SBS's Distribution Tools platform (C#, .NET, cloud APIs).
• Collaborate with senior developers to translate requirements and user stories into working software.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate day-to-day development, with the judgment to review, test, and take ownership of anything AI-generated before it ships.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain reliability and regression safety.
