Job summary

RELX, Inc. d/b/a LexisNexis USA is seeking a Software Engineer III to lead software design and drive MFE patterns for dynamic web apps and APIs. You will build features in the front-end and back-end, migrate workloads to AWS, and mentor engineers while coordinating with domain architects.

You will participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, demos, and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a consistent user experience across LexisAdvance and LexisPlus platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in related occupations required.
• 3 years of experience: front-end and back-end: Angular, HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, Typescript; .NET Core and C# APIs.
• Experience with YAML pipelines, Agile Scrum/Kanban, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Experience presenting demos to engineers, product management, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of software products and introduce MFE patterns for rich web experiences.
• Develop features in MFE, unit/integration tests, and API integration across LexisAdvance/LexisPlus.
• Migrate OnPrem projects to AWS Cloud Services and lead design reviews.
• Mentor teammates, participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and reviews.
• Prepare technical designs and triage production issues for a consistent UX.
