One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to lead architectural decisions and hands‑on delivery in a modernized, mainly .NET environment. You will guide teams on .NET Framework/Core, REST APIs, and front‑end stacks while elevating engineering practices and CI/CD maturity.

The role emphasizes technical leadership over people management, with opportunities to mentor, modernize legacy systems, and influence product delivery in a remote‑first setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with enterprise .NET apps including VB.NET/C#.
• Strong background in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WinForms/Web Forms, and WCF.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, T‑SQL and ORM frameworks (EF/LINQ/Dapper).
• Front‑end fundamentals: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS; Bootstrap, jQuery.
• CI/CD, Azure DevOps, testing (MSTest/NUnit/XUnit/Moq) and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design discussions across multiple apps and services.
• Unblock teams by diagnosing stack issues and collaborating cross‑functionally.
• Contribute high‑quality .NET/C#/VB.NET code for web and desktop apps.
• Mentor peers, promote standards, and improve CI/CD, testing, and docs.
• Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment workflows.
