Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a senior software architect to lead end-to-end design of high-performance, cloud-native applications for diverse clients across the United States. You will own architectural decisions, set standards, and mentor engineering teams while delivering scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

You will collaborate with clients to craft low-latency architectures in AWS, implement auditing and multi-tenant strategies, and drive ADRs and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development, with 3+ years in architecture-focused roles.
• Deep experience designing low-latency, cloud-native service architectures on AWS.
• Designing for explicit latency budgets (p95/p99) and durable commits.
• Experience with audit/evidence systems and versioned data models.
• Strong security and multi-tenant architecture expertise.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews.
• Excellent communication for client-facing architecture discussions.
